UECA Ministries

Feeding scheme

The church under the direction watch of the Bishop has a number of feeding schemes in the Gqeberha area, where our leader goes out ever Wednesday and Thursday providing food parcels and feeding the poor. This project is self-sustaining and is not receiving any financial support from donors. The project started since the days of the founding father, and the Bishop now has uplifted the standard by setting out teams composed of men and women who oversees these activities.

Old age women

In the church old women and widows are not neglected, and they are looked after by all means possible. The bishop dedicates her time and effort towards this ministry citing that these were once young women, and that every pillar and post is soaked with the prayers from days of old. The church believes that it is now time to give back to those who gave their all for the ministry to succeed. Every Sunday after church service, the old women are encouraged to remain behind and receive food in a form of bread and other food parcels. Visiting old women and widows also remains the priority in the ministry. Helping them with cleaning their homes, assisting them with health needs etc

Orphanage Ministry

Some years ago, the Bishop started a campaign to adopt orphanage homes where she led from the forefront by identifying the orphanage homes which needed assistance and rescue. Assistance and rescue are both in terms of providing financial assistance and providing food for the children. The church also pays visits to these orphanage homes to identify and assist with other needs.

Social ministry

This is an Ad hoc ministry which was started by the Bishop to assist the church with social needs that cannot be attended by church leaders but rather require professional people.

This ministry assesses the social needs in the church, organise and invites speakers to come and speak on the topic in order to assist the needs of the people. This ministry has as a result established good working relationships with medical professionals and the likes.
